April 15 means something dreadful to a lot of people. For those of us who work in the Nevada Legislative building, it means you better get your bill out of committee. Yes, Friday is yet another deadline. All bills, except those previously exempt by the money committees, MUST be passed out of their respective committees in order for them to sustain life. On paper it doesn't seem so bad, but in real life it means unannounced work sessions, long committee meetings and even longer days.
